Take DownLv. 5 Tackle + Vigor
PARTNER FILE / #016 · KANTO
Pidgey starts with Tackle and has Normal/Flying typing. Its physical attack factor is higher than its special factor, and its pool includes both shared Normal and Flying cards.

Physical and special attacks use different attack factors. Defense and special defense affect the matching incoming damage category; they are not flat percentages of damage blocked. Speed is the game’s base movement value.

Charges in an arc at everything in front of you.
The 400-coin Starting move upgrade is bought separately for each partner. It lets you choose a legal non-buff opening; the default remains available. Learning another attack during a run does not automatically change the active slot.
Pidgey has two types and does not receive the single-type ×1.20 damage bonus.
Move evolutions below upgrade an attack. They do not mean this partner changes into another Pokémon. For upgrade rules and slot choices, read the move evolution guide.
Pidgey gives a direct physical Normal/Flying route. Tackle matches its stronger factor, with Flying options available without an immediate special pivot.
Its 88 HP and modest defenses leave less margin than a bulky Water choice. Dual typing means neither Normal nor Flying gets the single-type bonus.

These are priorities and alternatives, not three attacks you receive or fire together. The selected slot keeps casting; existing projectiles, placed fields and temporary buffs can remain after switching. Bonds let several moves keep casting from one selected group.
A buff cast adds a stack rather than instantly granting the maximum bonus. Refresh it, return to damage before it expires, or combine it with damage in a Bond. It affects your player, not the whole team. Do not pass up a useful damage upgrade just to complete this list.
Keep the free physical start and take Vigor for Take Down.
Take DownLv. 5 Tackle + Vigor
A wider wing sweep offers another melee pattern with knockback. It asks for Power rather than Vigor to evolve.
Brave BirdLv. 5 Wing Attack + Power
This matches both attacks. Refresh briefly after damage is established, or combine with damage in a Bond.
If the cards do not cooperate: Aerial Ace is a legal physical dash option with a Sprint requirement. It still needs a safe destination, not an assumption of a free escape.
We would choose range beside Pidgey’s close route instead of squeezing two melee players into the same gap. Keep the close job only while the player can maintain a safe lane.
Squirtle keeps range while Pidgey handles the close edge. Leave turning room for the melee player.
Charmander adds special projectiles. This divides the attack patterns without implying a party-wide buff.
Kanto pairings to try, not an all-roster co-op ranking or a tested best team. Each player manages their own active slot and buffs. A partner knowing a move does not mean it keeps casting throughout the run.
Tackle, Wing Attack and Aerial Ace need different stat cards. Finish the route in use before chasing all three.
A movement attack is not a guaranteed escape when the destination is already crowded.
Learning a Flying move does not select it. Check which attack is running before buying the next upgrade.
These are the cards this partner can learn, including its default attack. They are choices, not a loadout you receive at once. An evolution requires the base move at its maximum level and the listed stat card; attack names alone do not imply extra effects such as healing.
