Take DownLv. 5 Tackle + Vigor
PARTNER FILE / #006 · KANTO
Charizard has Fire/Flying typing, 120 speed and a 1.30 special attack factor. Ember is the default start, while Flying cards add another set of choices during the run.
Explore Charizard’s move cards →

Physical and special attacks use different attack factors. Defense and special defense affect the matching incoming damage category; they are not flat percentages of damage blocked. Speed is the game’s base movement value.

A fireball at the nearest enemy.
The 400-coin Starting move upgrade is bought separately for each partner. It lets you choose a legal non-buff opening; the default remains available. Learning another attack during a run does not automatically change the active slot.
Charizard has two types and does not receive the single-type ×1.20 damage bonus.
Move evolutions below upgrade an attack. They do not mean this partner changes into another Pokémon. For upgrade rules and slot choices, read the move evolution guide.
We like Charizard’s 120 speed and 1.30 special factor for Fire/Flying choices. Ember is a clean opening, with Flying options for a different attack pattern later.
It loses the single-type bonus of Charmander and Charmeleon. Higher listed stats do not automatically mean stronger Fire hits, and a saved result is not a controlled comparison of builds.
No Charizard entry in this saved top 50. That alone does not establish a low tier.
Captured 2026-10-20 · 10:21 UTCOur recommendation combines this partner’s move options and base stats with the records available. The capture time is shown for each board; individual records do not reveal their game build or loadout. These are recorded runs, not win rates or a current-patch build test. These are priorities and alternatives, not three attacks you receive or fire together. The selected slot keeps casting; existing projectiles, placed fields and temporary buffs can remain after switching. Bonds let several moves keep casting from one selected group.
A buff cast adds a stack rather than instantly granting the maximum bonus. Refresh it, return to damage before it expires, or combine it with damage in a Bond. It affects your player, not the whole team. Do not pass up a useful damage upgrade just to complete this list.
We would level Ember and take Power for Fire Blast. This route needs no start-unlock purchase.
Fire BlastLv. 5 Ember + Power
Homing blades use special attack. Their Reflexes evolution requirement is a second route, not something Power completes.
Sky AttackLv. 5 Air Slash + Reflexes
This matches both attacks. Add it after securing damage, then refresh it or use it in an active Bond.
If the cards do not cooperate: Gust is a special Flying alternative for orbiting coverage, with Sprint required to evolve. Physical Flame Wheel is a separate plan, not a reason to keep buying special buffs.
We would begin with Ember beside close clearing or control. After both have reliable attacks, discuss complementary choices rather than everyone collecting copies of the same moves.
Venusaur’s close opening gives another attack shape beside Ember. Neither partner should assume the other holds enemy attention.
Blastoise can slow approaches while Charizard stays ranged. Agree on a retreat direction before chasing damage.
Kanto pairings to try, not an all-roster co-op ranking or a tested best team. Each player manages their own active slot and buffs. A partner knowing a move does not mean it keeps casting throughout the run.
Movement helps you keep firing safely. It does not itself prove the highest damage or survival time.
Nasty Plot supports this special route. Swords Dance will not increase Ember’s damage.
Fire Blast and Sky Attack need different stat cards. Complete a coherent route before expecting both evolutions.
These are the cards this partner can learn, including its default attack. They are choices, not a loadout you receive at once. An evolution requires the base move at its maximum level and the listed stat card; attack names alone do not imply extra effects such as healing.
